Another Season Begins

We signed Thomas up for another season of T-Ball through Oviedo Babe Ruth. This season he is on the Rays team. His coach is fantastic and helps the players understand the rules of the game. It's neat that the coach's son is in Thomas' Kindergarten class, too! We started last week, but I remembered to bring my camera tonight. He has practices on Friday's at 6:30pm and most games will be on Saturday mornings. The coach encourages all dads to be on the field during practices. Guess who's the pitcher?! Yep, Ken. I think he has more fun out there with the other dads than Thomas does. I think it's going to be a great season. Go Rays!

Nathan's Stats

Ken took Nathan today for his 15 month check up. The doctor's office has relocated and Ken was lucky to see the new office. I'm sure I'll see it soon enough considering how often we are there. Nathan weighed in at 23.8 pounds and 31.5 inches tall. He got 4 shots today. Poor guy. The doctor said that he is getting 2 molars, too. He has fluid in one ear, but he said that it was not infected. (Give it a few weeks...I'm sure it will be soon.) He goes back in October for the flu shot booster and then again in December for his 18 month check up. Why is he growing up so fast?! :)

1 1/4 years old!

Nathan is now 15 months old or 1 1/4! I got these fun stickers to help capture his growth during his second year. I got them from Etsy.com. They are so cute! Nathan is getting so hard to photograph in the sitting position. He is up and moving by the time I get my camera ready. He goes on Friday to the doctor for his 15 month check up and I look forward to seeing what kind of growth he has made in three months. He is constantly climbing, running, or dancing. He constantly tries to keep up with Thomas. He is not a picky eater, which is so helpful at the end of a long day. We are so amazed by how much he is learning. His vocabulary has increased and has cut another bottom tooth. I'll be sure to post his new stats from the doctor when I get them! Here's some more chair pictures...well, sort of.

Toy Story 3 on Ice

At the beginning of August we had bought tickets for us to take the boys to see Toy Story 3 on Ice. We even got tickets for our friends, The Weber's, so that we could all sit in the same row. Thomas just loves the movie and we knew Nathan would enjoy it as well. The show was at the Amway Arena and was absolutely fantastic. It was done in typical Disney style. There was a great variety of souvenirs and the show kept the attention of all the young children. Even Nathan! Nathan started clapping his hands as soon as he heard the Toy Story theme music. Ken and I thought that was so funny. We weren't sure where our seats would be located due to the angle they presented the show, but it turns out we had great seats. There was a thirty minute intermission, which felt very long, but it gave time for all the kids to go potty and more people to shop. The second half of the show was reenacting the Toy Story 3 movie. All the characters were there, even Barbie and Ken, and Thomas' favorite, Stretch the octopus. It was such a fun way to spend a Sunday afternoon!

Handsome Boy

Nathan received so many handsome clothes for his first birthday that we are still cutting off tags and wearing new clothes. Many pieces he had to grow into a little bit before he could wear. Here he is all smiley before going to "school". Thanks to Grammy Pammy and Daddy Vroom Vroom for their super cute outfit. Nathan loved wearing shoes to schoool or should I say he loved taking them off every time I put them on! :)

Mowin' with Daddy

As soon as Nathan hears the mower start up, he runs around the house looking for a window with the blinds open so he can see outside. He loves watching Ken mow. He bangs on the windows and yells "Da!" as if Ken can hear him. He recently has tried opening the front door, not a skill I'm excited about, just to go outside to be with Ken. He loves riding and when it was time to get off, he screamed and kicked his feet for over 40 minutes. (Which is why he was giving me "the look" when I said it was time to go in!) This boy loves his yard work...and in 12 years I hope he's just as eager to mow the yard.
