Buzz made an early debut this year. It's hard to believe that Buzz has been our elf now for three years. Thomas and Nathan were so surprised to have found him in the living room this morning. He came with a special letter from Santa. The letter encouraged the boys to be on their best behavior, to be kind to each other and to listen to their mom and dad. Thomas wrote him five letters throughout the day trying to explain his misbehavior, making special gift requests, and asking Buzz if he will stay until Christmas. The best part of this tradition is seeing the Christmas magic in my boys. Thomas counts down the entire year for this moment. Every first of the month is when he tells me how many months it will be until Buzz arrives. I'm sure Buzz will have lots to tell Santa about the Rhodes boys.

Thanksgiving Show
Nathan's class put on a little Thanksgiving program. Nana and Papa came to see it, too. Nathan sat at the end of the row and it was hard to get a good picture of him. The room was very crowded. All the kids sang great, except Nathan didn't want to sing. He was too amazed by the big crowd of people. He loved when everyone clapped at end of the songs. He was convinced it was all for him! He's still singing the songs at home so I know he loved preparing for the show!

A Little Saturday Fun
Just for fun Nathan and I made Lego Man crayons. I found the ice cube mold at the Lego Store and we decided to melt crayons in it. The little crayon figures came out perfect! Nathan loved lining them up and coloring with them.
