First Lawn Mower Ride

When Ken decided to go outside to cut the grass this weekend, Nathan started looking out the window to find him. I brought Nathan outside and let him have his first lawn mower ride. Of course he loved it! I think Ken has another eager yard helper. Well...at least for now.

My Heart Attack!

Nathan is officially a climber! He first learned to pull the chairs out from the playroom table, scoot onto them with his belly and pull up to a stand. Well, since that move was perfected, he has moved onto using the chair to climb onto the table. He then proceeds to stand on top of the table and jump up and down. Talk about a heart attack! (Please note that Ken was sitting next to the table while I took these photos.)

11 months old

This month Nathan has continued to just grow by leaps and bounds. He is walking, running and jumping all over the house. He has 5 teeth and is beginning to eat "people food". We are working on getting him to drink from a sippy cup but it's still in the beginning phases. We are constantly amazed by how fast he learns things especially from watching Thomas. It's hard to believe that in a month we'll be celebrating his first birthday!! (By the way, when I took this picture he walked to the chair, climbed inside, turned around and then smiled. Almost like he's done this before! ha!)

The Last T-Ball Game

I think in Thomas' first season of T-Ball, we played through every single possible kind of weather! In the beginning of the season, we all had multiple layers on and by the end of the season we couldn't wait to get in the car to cool off! The season was a complete success. Thomas did a fantastic job learning the sport and rules. After the last game, the team went to McDonald's for dinner, cake and handing out trophies. Here's a picture of our final cheering section and Coach Shawn. We are already looking forward to next season!

Mother's Day Tea

At Thomas' school they had a Mother's Day Tea Party. As Thomas put it, it should have been called a "juice and cookies" party. The kids made lots of cute things and it was nice to spend extra time with him in the morning.

Our Graduate!

In June Thomas will be "graduating" from VPK. It seems so official since his class wore cap and gowns and will even have nightly graduation rehearsal as time gets closer. The next time I see him in a cap and gown will be in the year 2023! We are so proud of all that he has learned this year and we know that he is going to have so much fun in Kindergarten!

Let's Go Thomas!

Yesterday the Braves played the A's for a nice 3pm, 90 degree game. Yep, it was hot but we still had fun. Thomas was first to bat and he hit the ball without using the tee. He also played catcher. It has been exciting to see the team's improvements each week. We only have three more games until the end of the season. Thank you to our biggest cheering section to date. We were so glad that Papa Buddy and Nana Ruby, Uncle Russell, Uncle Brian, Aunt Pat and Uncle Benne, Grandma Seiko and Aunt Michalle, and Nana and Papa could come see a great T-Ball game.

Party Fun

This weekend we went to a fun birthday party for our good friends children. They had a popcorn machine, a snowcone machine, a bounce house and a kiddie pool set up for the babies. Thomas stayed in the bounce house the entire time and Nathan got to splash in a kiddie pool for the first time. I was excited that I got to buy him his first swim trunks. He loved the kiddie pool! He even tried to aim the sprinkling water into his mouth!

Future MVP

While Thomas was gathering his equipment for his baseball game he thought it would be funny to let Nathan try on his helmet. Guess who loved it?!
