Trick-or-Treat

I love our Halloween traditions! Every year we get the boys dressed up and go see Mr. Bill and Mary. They get so excited to see them. Then we headed over to Emily's house. They are in a new neighborhood so it was fun going to new houses. We even found a skeleton! It was a fun night filled with yummy treats and our favorite people.

Sweet MQ as a bumblebee and Eli as a muscle man.

Pumpkin Patch

We had to stop at the pumpkin patch since Thomas' class was in need of 2 large pumpkins for their Pumpkin Math Day. Nathan was excited to go to the same patch that his class visited on their field trip. He loved showing us around! We were glad that there was enough to choose from even though it was so close to Halloween!

Nana's Birthday

Nana and Papa came to the boys' baseball games since I had a Breast Cancer 5K in the morning. We got to celebrate mom's birthday while at the games. Thomas picked out a pink cross for her and Nathan gave her a Grave Digger truck from his collection. We all thought that was the sweetest thing ever! We were so thankful that they could come help with the boys and see them play!

Boating Fun

It's nice that the boys enjoy being on the water as much as we do. They are excited about loading up in the truck early in the morning. Wish they were that eager to get up on school mornings! Nathan wanted me to sit with him in the back. Thomas was pleased since he got shotgun. Nathan caught his first fish of the season yet he was just as pleased to catch seaweed. On the way back to the ramp, we let Nathan drive the boat. He had so much fun doing donuts. I'll try to remember this when he turns 16!

Senior Night

It's hard to believe that Christian will be graduating this year. We were excited to attend "Senior Night" at Lake Brantley High School. He walked across the field with Mike and April and then we got to enjoy the game and watch him with the cheerleaders.

Divide and Conquer

Well, it happened. We had two games scheduled at the same time on different fields and of course it's when Ken is working overtime. I am so glad that my mom and dad were able to come help save the day. I am the "Team Mom" for both boys so I have to set up the dugouts but I have to stay in Nathan's dugout to help. My parents helped me feel like I was in two places at once. The boys loved having them there. It was the highlight of their day.

Robot Tooth

Nathan's molars don't have enamel and he needed a nice new silver crown. Dr. King is our wonderful pediatric dentist. I can't imagine going to anyone else for these types of treatments. He is so kind and sings the silliest songs while doing the work. Nathan needed mild sedation. He did NOT want to drink the sleepy medicine. We tried everything! He didn't want to leave the gas mask on either, so I got to hold him down during the procedure. Not fun for me at all! Other than that, he did great. He laid on the couch for a few hours before we had to pick Thomas up from school. He's such a tough little guy and very proud of his new "robot tooth".
