Christmas Eve

We celebrated Christmas Eve by going to Mass at our church. Nana, Papa, Liz and Brian came as well. It was a nice service and the kids were ready to go home and wait for Santa. Before they went to bed, they left reindeer food on the lawn and then they were allowed to open one gift. They got new jammies. (Usually, they get holiday jammies, but what could be better than new Lego Ninjago jammies???)

Christmas at Nana and Papa's

We celebrated Christmas multiple times this year. We celebrated early with my family since my brother had to work on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We were extra excited that my sister and her husband drove down from Illinois to be with us. We had mom's famous homemade spaghetti and meatballs! We are always glad she makes enough for leftovers! The boys had fun opening their gifts! We all had fun being together for the holiday!
Three more Lego sets!

Spiderman!

My sister made the capes for the boys using mens t-shirts and iron on images.

Cookie Decorating with the Coffaro's

Every year we get together with Emily and her family to exchange gifts for the kids. This year we thought it would be fun to decorate cookies, too! The kids had a lot of fun making and eating the cookies. It's hard to believe how much the kids have changed in one year!

Happy Half Birthday, Nathan!

We visited Papa and Nana on Nathan's half birthday and Nana had cupcakes for him. Of course we cut them in half and he even got birthday presents! I can't believe that in six months he will be 4 years old!

Happy Birthday, Papa!

We went early to see Papa for his birthday and the boys loved playing outside and giving him gifts. Happy Birthday to Papa!

Christmas at the Heller's

The Heller family invited us to their home to see their beautiful Christmas display. Mrs. Heller's dad had made a beautiful life size sleigh and she is honored to carry on the Christmas spirit in her neighborhood. Everyone was in costumes and the kids LOVED seeing Santa!

Adventures with Buzz the Elf

Every morning Nathan was the first one up searching for Buzz the Elf. He always looked in the last hiding spot and then whisered, "Buzz the Elf moved." Nathan was particularly captivated that he was always in a new hiding spot each morning. Thomas on the other hand liked to talk to Buzz every night and tell him about things he wanted or try to explain his misbehavior. Here are some of the fun things Buzz did while visiting our house.
