Someone Wants to Be Like Their Brother...
After seeing a patch of dry, red bumps on Nathan's face for about two weeks I decided to call Thomas' allergist and make Nathan an appointment. The doctor did a skin test with both food items and environmental elements. After waiting, we found out that Nathan is slightly allergic to milk and mold. He wasn't too concerned about the milk part since he doesn't have reactions after consuming it. We are going to monitor the mold allergy though. So, he gave us some cream for his face and we'll see if that helps.

Fun Friday with the Seda Family
Today we spent some time with my childhood friend Rhonda and her family. We met up for a few games of bowling. Ken and her husband Jason also joined us for the fun. The kids had fun bowling and it just amazes me how Nathan can effortlessly throw a 6 pound ball down the lane. It was nice to finally catch up on each other's busy lives and it reminds me of how much I miss seeing her!

Trailblazer Park
We met up with Emily and her family at Trailblazer Park in Lake Mary. We had never been there before. The playground was definitely for older kids, not toddlers, and they had a splash pad. We didn't know that it was "camp day" so the kids didn't splash too long since it got crowded quickly.

The Fourth of July with my Firecrackers
For the Fourth of July we met up with the Coffaro Family at the Oviedo Mall. We found a good place to park to enjoy dinner and fireworks. It was a fun night and the kids weren't afraid of the loud noises. I think McKinley could stare at Thomas all night. It's so fun to watch their interactions!

Thomas Turns SEVEN!
This morning Thomas woke up to a fun surprise! I woke up early and tied balloons above his door! When he opened the door I heard him say, "What in the world????". It was a fun way to start the morning. He quickly wanted to open his presents and loved his new Lego Ninjago shirts!
We had a fun day planned and Ken staying home from work made it even better. Thomas got to pick what he wanted to do for the day. Oh, let me me say we went through a million choices before deciding on going mini bowling at Firkin and Keglers. Both boys played 4 games each and had a blast. Poor Nathan had so much fun he worked up a sweat.
Afterwards,we went out for lunch at Chick-Fil-A and let Thomas spend a gift card he got at Toys R Us. When he told the worker at Toys R Us that it was his birthday, they gave him a crown to wear. Once we got home Thomas HAD to play his new wii game. It was a fun day celebrating our Thomas. He is changing from a little boy into quite a cool big kid. Happy Birthday, Thomas!

Birthday Eve
Today is Thomas' Birthday "Eve". Yes, he reminded me of this and said that since it's a "speical" day we should go to the Lego Store at Downtown Disney. Soooooo....off we went. Thomas is really into the tiny mini-figures and collecting Ninjago figures. He built 9 mini figures and found some others he was looking for. Nathan got building boards for his sets and of course he wanted mini figures, too. We didn't walk around at all since it was so hot. It was a quick trip but a fun way to spend his "Birthday Eve".
