Family Fall Photo

We spent a lot of time and effort to get the kids to smile at Picture People this afternoon. It takes lots of planning to get pictures just right. Wouldn't you know that we visited BassPro Shops afterwards and they had a scene set up for a free fall photo and the man only took ONE photo and it came out perfect! Geesh!

Halloween 2010

Here are the pictures of the boys in their Halloween costumes. Thomas is going to be "Woody" from Toy Story and Nathan is a little monkey. Getting the boys to sit still, look at the camera, AND smile all at the same time was nearly impossible, so these are the best ones we got.

Rays vs. A's

At this weeks game, Thomas got a chance to play catcher. He usually doesn't like to play this position since he thinks the gear stinks! :) He did a great job playing catcher. The game seemed so weird. Maybe it's because we were missing our usual cheering section. Nana and Papa were out of town. Go Rays!

Green Meadows Farm

It seems like it has become quite the Fall tradition at our house to visit Green Meadows Farm and their pumpkin patch. Since we had Monday off from school we gathered some friends and went on our annual trip. It was just moms and kids this time since all the dads were working. Nathan loved the animals and the train ride. Thomas tried to catch all the animals that he could and was absolutely fearless. In the pumpkin patch, Nathan was super strong and carried several pumpkins. It was a very fun day and exciting to see the changes they have made to the farm since the last time we were there. Next time, I think Ken should come to help be my extra arms so that I can take more pictures. ;)

Game Ball Winner!

At Saturday's game, Thomas' teacher and her family came to watch the game. There is also another student from their class on the team. It was very nice of her to stay and watch. Both of her students won the game ball! Jackson and Thomas had a great play where Jackson threw the ball to Thomas at first base and Thomas got the ball and remembered to keep one foot on the plate! It was so great to see them understand the rules of the game. Afterwards Thomas got a treat from Brusters Ice Cream. Thanks to Nana and Papa for also coming to the game! Congratulations, Thomas!

Rays vs. Braves

Today was the first game of our TBall season. We were supposed to play the Astros last week but it was cancelled due to rain. It was a 9am game and Thomas was still a little tired. Thomas did a great job catching and hitting. It's amazing how much he has changed since last season. The kids are truly understanding where to throw the ball and how to follow the rules rather than just play in the clay. Thanks to Nana for coming to our game. (I forgot to take a group photo.)

Nathan's New Chair

I treated Nathan to a new chair cover last week. Sometimes when you see a bargain you can't pass it up! Ebay had this chair cover that was already embroidered with his name. It must have only been a display item, since it is in brand new condition! Can you believe it was only $3.99 plus shipping! I love Ebay!
